It's My Mom! In Chicago!

We said good-bye this morning before I headed into work, and I only cried a little bit.

This weekend was a perfect Chicago weekend, and I hate to sound like an entitled spoiled brat, but it was about time! It was sunny and summery and lent itself perfectly to having a visitor.

It was a whirlwind weekend and I'm exhausted

Awww, I cry sometimes too when my dad visits and then leaves. I'm glad you guys had a nice time. Cute picture too! Oh I just added you on my Twitter stream too, I'm @bayjb!

I'm usually OK and then she starts crying then we just stand there hugging and crying for a while while Josh and my dad stand in the background kicking their toes and trying not to make eye contact.

That's such a cute pic of you two! My dad lives here and I sometimes want to cry when I leave him behind. As he gets older, I find myself missing him at odd times. I feel ya. I also bet that today's weather did not have you as pleased...

That's Josh and my mom. The weather... well I'm not crazy about it, but my tomato plants are grateful for the nice cool break.

Now I'm thinking that's not you in the picture...it looks like your smile, but I can't be sure. Anyway, it's a cute pic no matter WHO it is. I like the skyline in the back.

I am the spitting image of my mom. People stare at us when we go out.
