My favorite thing about summer in Chicago- festivals!
Last weekend we went to Sausagefest and Mayfest.
I wore my big hat so I could keep Hen (mostly) out of the sun.
We met up with Uncle Micah, and found a spot in the shade.
Our friend Natalie volunteered to be on Henry duty so I could grab a sausage and a beer.
And Henry? Henry was just chillin’.

Summer in Chicago almost makes up for the terrible weather the other 8 months of the year. All the festivals just might tip the scale.
