This morning it is gray and POURING rain in Chicago, but yesterday…
Yesterday morning was heavenly. I was up before Henry (and that is saying something) so I had enough time to get ready and join Josh and Hen on their morning walk.
Until recently I’ve been using an Ellaroo woven and I thought I really liked it… until I got this new Didymos. It is amazing. So comfortable, and easy to wrap.
Henry fussed a little while I was geting him in there, but once I got him settled he was asleep before we even got to the park.

Um, that first photo… ridic cute. RIDIC!
that little contraption is the cutest thing ever!! he’s all swaddled in there! adorable.
Perfect!
You have the best wraps for him. I need to invest in one of those – he looks so content.
Agree, the two of you in the park are just the sweetest image ever. Such a nice day for a walk!
You’re my hero for walking two dogs while wearing your baby. I hope to do the same in a few short months!
In the spirit of full disclosure, Josh does most of the dog walking and wrangling, I’m just along for the ride, and when I’m at work, Josh really does wak the dogs while wearing Henry- I’ll have to get pics an my next day off!
Look at you up so early, looking so cute and before work?? Wow. Good way to beat the heat though
The ability to operate on less sleep and a completely different schedule that you are used to, an underrated upside to having a newborn?
He is just such a doll. I especially love that first photo!
Me too! I love his smiley-sleepy face!
that is a gorgeous wrap! i have wrap envy
I got a Mystery Box from Birdie’s Room, so I didn’t pick it out myself, but I love it.
Cute! He looks so happy!
Oh wow! Did you get him on your back all by yourself! That’s what I need to do with Merritt!
I practiced at home with Josh as a spotter. I learned this one from this video on You Tube
You are a baby-wearing inspiration! Seriously awesome. Is there a website or something where I can learn to do all these different holds? He looks so content!
I am super new to BW, but I’m learning, sites I’ve found useful are The Baby Wearer, Becoming Mamas, and the AP board on The Bump.
A friend of mine gave me a moby wrap and (baby’s not even here yet mind you), I’m seriously intimidated. I THINK I’ve figured out how I’ll get the baby on my front but HOW did you get Henry on your BACK? Please explain.
P.S. you guys look like a magazine photo with him snoozing like an angel.
I have the hardest time loading your blog – my computer always times out for some reason. Happens regularly. After the 10th attempt today, I was finally able to get in and catch up on your posts. Seems I’ve already missed so much! Henry is so smiley! That first pic? Sigh. Adorable.
Here’s hoping it won’t be another week before I can come in and visit with you.
That second to last picture is aaaamazing.
awesome! And I love that your jeans are cuffed — I do that too, and I feel like the only one.
also, seriously beautiful wrap
Early morning light is so beautiful – and so are you guys!
Love that first photo. He’s all snuggled in.
