This is the perfect opportunity for me to ask about wraps!
I have 2 ring slings and an Ergo, and a 21 pound 11 month old. The RS are getting uncomfortable – super diggy in the shoulder, and since one is made of flannel, and the other made of textured silk, I’m sweating up a storm in there.
Would a wrap potentially be more comfortable? Suggestions for inexpensive/lightweight wraps, and resources for learning how to use it? You always look so effortlessly gorgeous wrapped up with your bubba.
I think a woven wrap with a bigger baby is absolutely more comfortable. If you haven’t already joined I can’t reccommend thebabywearer.com highly enough as a babywearing resource.
hi I’m back I’ve been wanting to get a size 2 or 3 wrap – I only have a 6 now – had to ask what you recommend? Something lighter weight and not too expensive thanks, mama!
I think a linen or hemp blend is probably your best bet with a bigger baby, check out http://www.wovenwraps.com, http://www.marsupialmamas.com and http://www.birdiesroom.com, those are my favorite retailers, or you can look at used wraps online at TBW FSOT or on the facebook babywearing swap group. Also, email me your address, I’ll send you something to try out.
Are those dishtowels? Sheets? Table cloths? They are pretty!? And Hen is a doll, as usual.
They are all wraps! But they aren’t all mine!
I guess my little guy isn’t the only one who loves to be held upside down.
Oh yeah, it’s big fun!
This is the cutest thing ever.
Thanks!
so so adorable. why don’t I live closer to you to borrow your gorgeous wraps?!
That would be awesome!
His little teeth are killing me!
I know, I love them!
