I accidentally counted all my wraps the other day and yikes! I’ve been hoarding these for a new baby, but it looks like that isn’t going to happen any time soon so in an effort to simplify I’m destashing a bit, if you are interested here is a link to my FSOT post on TBW:
Here’s what’s for sale, and a few special prices for readers and friends, message me if you are interested (themaidenmetallurgist at gmail.com), and there is more to come!
Girasol No. 27 size 2 $85 (SOLD)

Bara Barn Black Pepper (3 meters) $45 (SOLD)

Didymos Tussah Silk Nino 2 $85 (SOLD)

Graphite Cashmere Indio 2 $170 (SOLD)

Schiefer Indio with Wool 6 $275 (Keeping)

I wish the cashmere Indio was a 7. I would be all over it. What a gorgeous wrap! (I can’t imagine what your stash must look like if these are the ones you are willing to part with.) Thank you for all of your baby wearing advice a few weeks ago. I ended up getting an aubergine Zara, which is on it’s way to my house. Suggestions on good ways of wearing a curious 1 year old?
I love Zaras, I’m glad you found something you love! What size is you zara? Once I know that I can suggest some carries
You are so stunning in all your photos! Your wraps are gorgeous! Wish I could buy a couple but will would kill me since I just bought a gira for my birthday
Best of luck with the destash though! And I’m praying that whatever you want to happen as far as baby #2 will happen
You are too sweet! I hope you like your Gira!
All your wraps are so pretty!! But, my reason for commenting is to ask – how do you wrap a 3 meter wrap?!!?!?!?!? I have a 4.5m woven wrap and have not been able to do anything with it that is remotely comfortable for me or the kid. Maybe I need to lose a few more pounds???? All the wrap methods I’ve come across online all require at least 5m wrap (well, they do for me – and I’m short and only about 10lbs over my pre-preg weight, so it’s not THAT bad)… Anyway, can you please do a show/tell for me on how you wrap with that little fabric???
I will do a show and tell soon, but until then here are a couple good links from TBW for using a size 2 and a size 3 wrap by t shirt size
With baby 2 on the way, I”ve been looking at getting a wrap, but I always scare myself because “what if I don’t like the one I get.” What are your recommendations based on everything you’ve used for a good all-purpose wrap? I’ll only be able to get one, so I want it to be lighter weight/breathable, easy to clean and versatile.
I think a size 6 in cotton or cotton/linen would be perfect, I prefer Didymos wraps and if you email me and tell me what you like I’d be happy to help you find something great when you are ready.
Dude! You’ve got a small fortune wrapped up in those wraps!
I adore the Girasol No. 27, but alas no baby. And it would probably be pretty freaking weird to wrap my cat in it.
The Zara I got is a 7, but I’m okay with tails and tying bows around my waist if I have extra. (I’m a size 16, so I imagine I’m not going to have a whole lot left over on some and went with a longer wrap.) You are a total inspiration in babywearing, btw
All of your gorgeous wraps inspired me to go beyond the ring sling and the Ergo, even though my kiddo started walking!
