We’ve been spoiled with a mild winter this year, so mild in fact that I forgot just how cold winter is. We get cold two-fold in Eisenbergia, at work it’s just cold, I really bundle up, my winter work uniform consists of layers, lots of layers, the kind of layers you see on people who hold signs in construction zones. It’s cold in a steel mill.
At home it’s cold too. They can bundle up most of the day, crank the furnace a bit since a certain toddler won’t keep his socks on, but a couple times a day the dogs need to go for a walk whether it’s cold or not. So while I’m bundled up at work, Hen and Josh get bundled up at home.
It took a little trial and error to figure out how many layers it would take to keep Hen warm enough that he wouldn’t cry (poor buddy!), turns out it’s three. Three layers and two hats!
Just like mama.

That picture of Henry is too cute. My guy refuses to wear socks in the house too. His poor little tootsies are always freezing!
